Macmahon is seeking innovative, people-focused Health and Safety (HSEQ) professionals to join our team across a range of West Australian surface mining projects.

Whether you're an experienced HSEQ Advisor with a strong background in mining or looking to take the next step in your health and safety career, we have opportunities across all levels – from junior to senior Advisor roles with immediate and upcoming opportunities available. With FIFO and DIDO options from Perth available on 8:6 rosters, Macmahon offers working arrangements to suit your lifestyle and career goals.

About the Role
  • Depending on your level, responsibilities may include:
  • Supporting and implementing HSEQ Management Plans
  • Mentoring teams on HSEQ systems and compliance
  • Engaging with clients on WHS activities and performance indicators
  • Conducting risk assessments and investigations
  • Managing hazard reporting and corrective actions
  • Performing inspections and audits aligned with safety planning
About you
  • Experience in mining or similar HSEQ roles
  • Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Familiarity with implementing HSEQ systems and incident investigation methodologies (e.g. ICAM)
  • Experience in conducting audits and inspections
  • Strong communication, leadership and engagement skills
  • People focussed approach to improve safety performance and HSEQ systems
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Manual "C" Class WA Driver's Licence or equivalent
