The role

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Senior Sales Administrator is responsible for supporting and enhancing the effectiveness of the sales function by managing end-to-end administrative processes, maintaining CRM data, and driving lead and pipeline management activities. This role supports sales performance through timely coordination, reporting, and proactive follow-up with prospective clients, ensuring a smooth and structured sales process.

You will be empowered and supported by a highly experienced and passionate team to build your skills.

This role reports to the Growth Sectors and Partnership Manager.

Key responsibilities


• Process quotes, sales orders, invoices, and payments accurately and efficiently.


• Proactively follow up with leads and prospects to support engagement and conversion.


• Support the sales team in managing and progressing opportunities through the pipeline.


• Maintain up-to-date customer and sales data in Salesforce.


• Identify and qualify new leads through inbound enquiries, CRM insights and sales campaigns.


• Support sales forecasting and performance tracking.


• Recommend and implement improvements to streamline sales administration processes.


• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. finance, marketing) to ensure seamless client experiences.


• Provide data-driven insights to sales-focused marketing and communications campaigns.

Skills and competencies


• Proven experience in sales administration or sales operations or similar role.


• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers and other key stakeholders quickly and effectively


• Proficiency with CRM platforms (previous Salesforce experience will be well-regarded)


• Highly organised.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• High attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
