Our Perth Office is looking for a Full Time Head of Risk to join our team.

About the role

• Support the Chief Risk Officer in managing Cash Converter's risk profile and align risk management to the company's goals, whilst maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement Risk Management Frameworks
• Identify existing and new potential risks for Australian and International Operations
• Lead and manage the Risk Managers responsible for Compliance, Credit Assurance, Financial Crime & Privacy.
• Act as a subject matter expert and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to strengthen compliance in areas such as Responsible Lending, Design & Distribution obligations, AML, Modern Slavery, Privacy, WH&S and Pawnbroking & Second-Hand dealing; and
• Prepare detailed risk profile reports, Risk Appetite Statements, Annual reports and present these reports to the Board of Directors or other key stakeholders as required.

About you

• A tertiary qualification in commerce and/or business administration
• Experience in the Financial Services sector with Australian Financial Services Licensee and/or Australian Credit License holder
• Very strong data analytics and reporting capability
• Thorough understanding of Responsible Lending Obligations under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act
• Experience using Protecht Risk Management system and/or similar risk management systems
• Good understanding of the Privacy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Act
