Overview

Our team of radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine technologists, nurses, centre support staff, as well as our network of independent radiologists make up our 2,000 diagnostic imaging experts and support staff across 150 sites right around the country.

Our Medical Imaging team based in Peninsula Private clinic in Kippa Ring are on the lookout for a Part Time (3 days a week) Medical Receptionist to join them in providing the best service and care to our patients. This is a fixed term contract position until August 2026.

Role

This position is responsible for managing both in person and phone/computer based service to patients and practitioners, being able to multitask and provide high attention to detail is essential.

Working hours will be across 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday and rotational Saturdays.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for all reception duties including
  • Customer service and care including greeting patients at the front desk, taking, and directing incoming telephone calls
  • Make radiology exam bookings
  • General Clerical Duties
  • Patient record management with exceptional data entry skills
  • Liaising with other receptionist, referring doctors and other medical professionals in a courteous manner
  • Medicare, DVA, Health fund and work cover billing and banking
