We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following full-time position:

Director of Property and Services (1.0 FTE)

The successful applicant will:

  • have an active Christian faith
  • be passionate about living out their Christian faith, and be prepared to model, uphold, and support the Ethos of the College and its Core Values.
  • embrace involvement in the life of the College.
  • comply with all relevant legislative and regulatory obligations and College policies and procedures.
  • complete administrative and operational activities in accordance with College requirements.
  • demonstrate a willingness to undertake tasks as requested by the Principal, Business Manager, or their delegate.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

You will have:

  • at least 5 years' experience in facilities, maintenance, or construction management, ideally with project delivery and team leadership. You may also be considered if you have been an operations/ business manager in a smaller environment and are looking for a change.
  • a solid understanding of building infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • strong project management skills, with experience managing contractors, budgets, and compliance.
  • the ability to read and interpret technical plans and architectural drawings.
  • a working knowledge of building codes, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.
  • hands-on maintenance capability and a practical, problem-solving approach.
  • Experience in an educational environment, however, is not essential but would be an advantage.
  • a passion for Christian education and a commitment to upholding the Christian ethos and values of the College.
  • the responsibility to inform the Risk Committee of potential operational risks.

Personal Qualities:

  • You are deeply relational, friendly and open.
  • Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills that can be used effectively with the Executive, staff, contractors and students.
  • You can demonstrate effective planning, organisational and time-management skills.

  • Grounds and Maintenance Oversight
    Budgeting and Resource Management

Qualifications:

  • Current Working With Children Card.
  • Current Police Clearance.

Additional Requirements:

  • The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principles Child Safe Modules if not already completed.
  • You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia).
