About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and motivated Superintendent to oversee daily operations on a long-term project focused on road maintenance and supporting mining resource definition teams.
This is a day shift only position on an 8/6 FIFO roster, ideal for a hands-on leader who excels in coordinating field activities, managing supervisors, and maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all site activities related to road maintenance and resource definition operations Oversee work crews including operators, contractors, and technical teams across multiple work fronts Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in line with project specifications and quality standards Implement and monitor daily and weekly work plans and schedules Manage and report on site productivity, resource allocation, and project progress Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections Liaise with clients and key stakeholders Monitor road conditions and ensure access routes are maintained in a safe and serviceable condition Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, delivery dockets, and progress reports Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE requirements Skills & Experience Proven experience in a similar superintendent or supervisory role within civil, mining, or infrastructure projects Strong background in road construction or maintenance essential Experience supporting exploration or resource definition teams highly regarded Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse site teams and subcontractors Solid understanding of WHS legislation and risk management processes Excellent communication and organisational skills Proficient in site reporting and basic computer systems (e.g., MS Office, project reporting tools)Relevant trade, civil, or mining qualifications or extensive field experience First Aid & CPR - preferred Benefits & Rewards Long-term project stability Consistent 8/6-day shift roster – excellent work/life balance Attractive salary package Leadership that promotes a team-first culture Supportive and experienced project leadership team Opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic resource environment How to Apply If you would like to join our team or find out more about this role, please click apply.
