The Job The position requires you to conduct market research, analyse financial data, and prepare investment recommendations for the company.
This role requires strong analytical skills, a broad understanding of different industries, and the ability to assess the potential of new ventures.
We're looking for a self-starter—someone who thrives with autonomy and isn't just great at spotting opportunities, but knows how to create them.
While you'll be supported by a small, experienced team, this role is best suited for someone with a proactive mindset —someone who's ready to drive real impact and help take our operation to the next level.
Ideally, you're based in the Gold Coast Australia, but the role will begin as remote/work-from-home, offering flexibility as we grow together.
Your Responsibilities (not limited to)Industry Research: Conduct thorough research on specific industries and emerging trends to identify potential investment opportunities.
Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence on prospective companies, including evaluating their business model, market position, and financial performance.
Investment Recommendations: Prepare investment recommendations based on research and analysis, often including valuation and risk assessments.
Portfolio Management: Assist in monitoring and managing the companys portfolio, including tracking company performance and providing updates.
Networking: Build relationships with entrepreneurs and industry leaders to identify potential investment opportunities.
Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations summarising research findings and investment recommendations.
Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
Experience in a related field such as investment banking, private equity, or consulting is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Deep understanding of financial concepts and modelling.
Knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics.
Ability to conduct thorough research and due diligence.
