APS6 Actuarial Officer | Federal Government | SA | 1 Year contract | Hybrid working | Australian Citizens Only Are you a numbers-driven thinker who loves turning data into insight? What you'll be doing : Extracting and preparing data from a central warehouse and other sources Performing data cleansing and quality checks for reasonableness Supporting reporting cycles through structured data analysis Applying statistical or actuarial modelling techniques to monitor trends and produce meaningful insights Producing ad hoc reports and analytical summaries for key stakeholders Communicating your findings clearly, both verbally and in writing What we're looking for : Progression through Part I and Part II actuarial qualifications A background in actuarial studies, mathematics, statistics, or a closely aligned field2–4 years of experience in analytical or finance-related roles Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset Work-life flexibility Hybrid working arrangements are available, typically requiring three days per week in the office, with two days flexible—negotiated directly with your manager.
