Lady Gowrie is a not-for-profit community-based organisation providing Education and Care to children from birth to 12 years of age.
The role South Hobart Our South Hobart Service has up to 60 children in Outside School Hour Care and 29 Children in Long Day Care and the Education and Care Manager will: Manage the delivery of high-quality and safe Education & Care services and programs Oversee service operations including family engagement, people management and operational excellence Lead the service to meet and exceed standards through Assessment and Rating processes Build strong relationships with children, families and the team Mentor team members to grow the capability to deliver quality pedagogy and practice Perform Nominated Supervisor responsibilities What will I receive?Salary packaging (pay less tax)15% fee discount for your children to attend our services Six Manager Connection and Development Days per year To request the position description and Nominated Supervisor Responsibilities please email peopleandculture@gowrie-tas.com.au.
Skills and Experience: ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education5 years' experience in the Education & Care sector Proven understanding and practical application of Education and Care National Law and Regulations (National Quality Framework)Demonstrated ability to meet the Nominated Supervisor responsibilities Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding, supporting and developing a high performing team A current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People, child related activity and childcare services category Police Check (or ability to obtain)To apply, please submit your CV and Cover Letter through "apply now".
