The position is full-time and based in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
The package will be tailored to your experience, and while prior industry knowledge is an advantage, candidates who meet the requirements but are new to the industry are also encouraged to apply, as structured training will be provided to ensure success.

What does your next role look like?In this role, you will be more than a support officer – you will act as a trusted representative for Japanese clients, ensuring their needs are addressed with accuracy, confidence, and initiative.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing customer inquiries, quotes, and orders with precision
Recommending products and tailored solutions to meet client requirements
Partnering with sales, production, and engineering teams to resolve issues effectively
Maintaining and sharing critical customer information across departments
Supporting account management through proactive follow-ups
Driving the sales process forward with outbound calls and relationship building
Coordinating with internal stakeholders (credit, assembly, technical support)
Taking ownership of additional tasks to strengthen client service and business outcomes
What you'll bring to the role:
Excellent command of business Japanese and English, with the ability to communicate confidently in both languages
Around 5–10 years of professional experience, ideally in industrial sales, technical support, or equipment-related roles
Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability, able to navigate complex client demands
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the confidence to manage demanding stakeholders
Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and drive issues to resolution
High proficiency with MS Office and business systems (Oracle or similar ERP experience an advantage)
Service-minded, proactive, and resilient, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
A collaborative team player who can also work independently with initiative
Location: Northern suburbs of Melbourne (own transportation required)
Working Hour: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Standard: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (AEST)
Daylight Saving: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (AEDT)
You will follow the Japanese national holiday calendar and work on Australian public holidays, with appropriate compensation provided.
Salary range: Competitive, above market standards – details available upon request.
Working flexibility: This is a full-time, onsite role.
During your first 6-12 months, you'll be expected to work primarily from the office to build strong client knowledge and team relationships.
Once established, hybrid work (2–3 days WFH per week) will be available.
Start From: Immediate start preferred, but we are flexible for the right candidate.
