The Legislative Council is seeking a suitably experienced and motivated Research Assistant to support the Council Committees on a full time, ongoing basis.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Committee Manager, you will provide high level administrative and research support to Council Committees to meet regular and tight deadlines.
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who is self-directed and enjoys the challenge of providing research and administrative support in an environment subject to time constraints.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have proven research and writing skills and possess demonstrated expertise in provision of administrative services.
You will be a strong communicator, work well under pressure and be known as a collaborative team member.
You possess the capacity to quickly develop knowledge of legislation and procedures relevant to the work of the committee and provide accurate advice to internal and external stakeholders based on this knowledge.
