Job summary: Flexible hours available 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role WINE WAITER | JUNIOR SOMMELIER North Fitzroy Arms Hotel is seeking a section waiter with experience in a wine-focussed venue to join the team at our beloved neighbourhood establishment.
This popular neighbourhood pub earned itself a long overdue restoration, reopening in 2024 as a food-focussed venue under a leading head chef and beverage director, whilst still retaining its heart, soul, and front bar charm.
2024 marked 150 years serving guests in the back streets of North Fitzroy, and to continue that tradition, we are in search of genuine hospitality professionals who are kind, positive, and passionate about the Hotel's direction.
About This Role: Our FOH positions are accompanied by the support and leadership of our motivated management team with their finger on the pulse of the hospitality scene, allowing you to comfortably contribute to a great pub experience and develop your hospitality career.
Applicant Requirements:
• Experience section waiting in a fast-paced dining room
• Experience in a wine-focussed venue
• Intermediate or higher wine and cocktail knowledge
• A friendly and welcoming demeanour
• The ability to create memorable interactions with our guests
• Professional communication and listening skills
