Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic, repair and maintenance services to our customer's equipment.This is a position in which you can work autonomously and make it your own with the full support of our Melbourne branch and our wider company branch network.Key Responsibilities IncludeProviding onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenance Building and maintaining excellent rapport with our customer base in the region Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork Conducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures To Be Successful In The Role, You Will PossessMinimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
Proven track-record as a heavy diesel mechanic with earthmoving/heavy machinery experience OEM equipment experience highly regarded Current driver's license Ability to work autonomously in the region and proactively solve technical issues Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures At Hitachi, we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer who recruits based on merit and capabilities.
