As a Bus Driver, you will provide safe and comfortable transport to local areas for residents. You will also be responsible for assisting residents of differing abilities on and off the bus, maintaining proper records and logs, and cleaning the bus as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide driving services for residents, ensuring safe and comfortable transport to local areas.
  • Assist residents of differing abilities on and off the bus.
  • Maintain proper records and logs.
  • Clean the bus as required.
Requirements
  • A current Victorian driving licence (LR/MR/HR).
  • A current Driver Certificate.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
  • Australian Work Rights.
  • Experience driving a bus is essential.
  • Experience in aged care or community work is preferable.
  • Manual handling experience.
  • Safe driving record.
  • Immunisation Record - COVID mandatory.
  • Availability and reliability to commit to required shifts.
  • Effective communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
  • Strong passion for working with the elderly.
