The Role At NGS Super, our members come first in everything we do.
As Digital Copywriter, you'll craft clear, compelling and member-first content that informs, inspires and builds trust across digital and traditional channels.
Combining creativity with expertise in SEO and AI content optimisation, you'll ensure our stories reach the right audiences and truly connect with members, employers and advisers.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Experience, you'll shape integrated communications that strengthen our brand, boost engagement and drive growth.
Key focus areas include: Content Creation & SEO Optimisation Create clear, engaging and member-first content across web, email, social media, video scripts and print.
Translate complex superannuation topics into simple, accessible language that informs, supports and connects with members.
Use keyword research to shape content strategy and align with user search intent.
Optimise copy through on-page SEO and AI content optimisation, ensuring metadata, internal linking and structured content enhance performance.
Create a roadmap for content optimisation and strategy, engaging with stakeholders and providing guidance on improvements.
Search Strategy & Execution Support the development and execution of on-site content strategies.
Stay informed on search engine algorithm updates and implement necessary adjustments.
Ensure compliance with SEO best practices, including Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
Campaign Support & Collaboration Partner with Brand, Acquisition, and Engagement teams to develop campaign content that aligns with NGS's tone, values, and objectives.
Support digital and content marketing initiatives across the full member journey, from acquisition to retention.
Coordinate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver effective, search-optimised communications.
Performance & Analytics Use tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console to analyse content performance.
Support reporting dashboards and use performance data to refine content.
You have: Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related discipline.5+ years' experience in SEO copywriting, ideally within superannuation, finance, or professional services.
Deep understanding of SEO and AI content optimisation fundamentals, keyword strategy, metadata, and content structuring.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Familiarity with analytics tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, Screaming Frog, etc.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
A working knowledge of HTML/CSS or experience with content management systems is an advantage.
Desirable Knowledge of (or prior experience in) the superannuation industry.
