About the Role As the Head of Operations, you'll be part of the Senior Leadership Team and responsible for end-to-end operations across Maverick Bio.
You'll provide strategic leadership across multiple teams, embed a culture of safety and performance, and lead transformative initiatives that align with our growth strategy.

What You'll Do Lead operational functions across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Collections, and Processing.
Embed performance culture through clear KPIs and continuous improvement.
Drive safety-first culture and ensure full compliance with WHS, ISO, and QMS standards.
Champion operational excellence using LEAN, Six Sigma, and digital systems integration.
Lead operational readiness for expansion, automation, and ERP optimisation.
Mentor and develop high-performing teams and succession planning initiatives.
What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field.
Exceptional leadership attributes to develop and motivate teams at all levels in the business.
Certifications in LEAN, Six Sigma and WHS compliance.
20 years of proven senior leadership experience across operations, preferably in manufacturing, biotechnology, life sciences, or industrial sectors.
Demonstrated success in leading multi-function operations with measurable outcomes in safety, quality, cost, and service.
A strong ability to oversee and drive projects to successful delivery.
Formal project management background with familiarity with Agile or similar project methodologies.
Strong commercial acumen, budget oversight, and financial literacy.
Deep knowledge of WHS, ISO (9001 and 13485), and QMS compliance frameworks.
Experience leading digital transformation and ERP system optimisation.
Strong cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Commercial, HR/Safety and Finance.
