Consultant - Physician - Geriatrics

This is a Fixed
Term Full Time or Fixed Term Part Time appointment for an initial 6
months contract, with the possibility of extension(s).
Contract
start date on 04 November 2025.

Eligibility to

Position
Profile: Leads the multidisciplinary team to provide
specialist medical services to patients.
Promotes patient
safety and quality of care.
Provides
leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where
relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical
Practitioners and other health workers.
In collaboration with
the Head of Department (Ho D) Geriatric Medicine and other
Consultants, works to achieve national, state and East Metropolitan
Health Service performance standards and targets.

Works with
the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the
Area Medical Credentialing Committee.

Profile: East Metropolitan Health Service provides a
comprehensive range of public mental health services for ages; 16
years above, through community mental health services and
hospitals.
The Armadale
