Add expected salary to your profile for insights As a Senior Software Lifecycle Specialist at NTT DATA, you will be our clients' trusted advisor for software, helping them maximize the value of their software investments and ensuring their overall satisfaction and loyalty with a primary focus on Cisco.
Your key role is to build and maintain strong client relationships, driving the adoption, expansion, and renewal of our software offerings.
You will work closely with our Client Managers and Service delivery Managers to ensure seamless and effective client engagement.
You will create and manage Software Success plans that promote accelerated software usage and feature adoption, aligning your efforts with the clients' business and operational objectives.
Your day-to-day activities will include conducting regular training programs to guide clients on utilizing specific software features, as well as identifying and seizing opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
You will ensure regular business reviews are held to demonstrate the value of our solutions, and you will be responsible for reporting success metrics back to our organization and its vendors.
As the conduit between our Client Managers, Professional Services, and Consulting teams, you will document case studies and design best practices for software-defined infrastructure, usage, and adoption.
You will also support our Client Success Managers in securing successful on-time renewals, making sure we fully leverage vendor rebates and lifecycle credits.
Primary Duties: The Software Lifecycle Specialist (SLS) is responsible for executing client-facing activities through the technology adoption and expansion of the client software agreements.
The SLS collaborates with NTT Data's Software Sales Specialist, Client Managers/Partners, GTM practice, and vendor stakeholders advocate on behalf of and support client success.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute technology adoption programs in consultation with Software Sales Specialists and GTM Practice.
Work closely with Presales, Consulting, and Technical Services team members to ensure effective client engagement, leveraging resources as needed.
Agree and implement a structured Governance Framework with the client, capturing key success criteria that will be covered in the meeting cadence.
Maintain a good understanding of the vendor (Cisco) incentive programs and be accountable for realizing vendor incentives associated with technology adoption.
Facilitate client technology roadmap workshops, engaging appropriate technical resources.
Provide Market Intelligence insights into clients (including industry insights and technology trends) and highlight NTT's expertise and differentiated offerings.
Identify and register co-sell opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and expand software and NTT Data Services.
Report success metrics back to NTT Data stakeholders.
Document client case studies and Win Wires for adoption and lifecycle management success stories.
Other Responsibilities: Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure alignment with their strategic goals.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape to better position NTT's offerings.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in software licensing and agreements.
Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Identify client eligibility for available funding through various Cisco programs such as MCI, ECIF etc.
Deliver Presales Cisco workshops Work with clients to obtain Proof of Execution/Delivery of workshops Submit claims to Cisco for delivered workshops To thrive in this role, you need to have: Advanced experience in account planning, stakeholder mapping, and management techniques.
In-depth knowledge of our products, services, and core functionalities, along with an understanding of industry insights and the competitive landscape.
Excellent sales skills, including consultative selling, negotiation, and the ability to close deals.
Proficiency in executing on-time renewals with minimal volume or price churn.
Advanced understanding of IT service environments, service operations, ITIL practices, and financial statements.
Ability to manage contracts and communicate their value to clients effectively.
Ability to interpret clients' business strategies and identify opportunities for our solutions and services.
Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain solid stakeholder relationships up to the management level.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, complemented by good questioning and analytical abilities.
A bachelor's degree in business management or a related field is strongly preferred.
Financial acumen knowledge and understanding.
Education and Training: Diploma or bachelor's degree or equivalent in business management or related field.
Certification and working knowledge of ITIL practices.
Additional relevant vendor certifications would be advantageous.
