The Role Our Member Services Officers are the heart of our business, providing services such as Sales, Reception and Merchandising to our members, casual users, and potential new members, following our established routines and procedures.
The role involves prospecting, touring, closing sales, and obtaining referrals for future sales.
They will actively seek new business for the club, representing the facility and Genesis positively and professionally.
The primary responsibility of our Member Services Officers is to acquire new members and deliver first-class customer service in line with our Mission, Vision, and Values.
They are responsible for achieving individual and team goals set with the Assistant Club Manager and Club Manager.
The successful applicant should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for health and fitness, and enjoy helping people start their fitness journeys.
Key areas of responsibility include : Having a passion for fitness Providing excellent customer service both in person and over the phone Applying sound cash handling principles and using Point of Sale (POS) systems Promoting the centre's services and programs, and managing customer bookings and enrollments Previous experience in a similar position Excellent communication skills Holding current First Aid & CPR Certification Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check Prior experience in fitness, sales, customer service, or retail is highly advantageous Previous experience in fitness, sales, customer service, or retail is highly advantageous, but candidates with a friendly attitude and a customer service mindset are encouraged to applyIf you are passionate and see the tremendous opportunity this role offers, and want to utilize your skills and passion in a health training environment, we want to hear from youSimply complete the application process by clicking the Apply Now button, and we'll be in touch.
