The Role
The purpose of this role is primarily to perform all required sampling, inspection, monitoring and testing procedures as required.
Reporting to the HSEQ Coordinator your duties will include:

Assist with and conduct required sampling, inspection, monitoring and testing of all salt and brine samples against specifications; as per relevant classification in Enterprise Bargaining Agreement; including support for other sites
Ensure ongoing maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
Monitoring of site wash brine
Support manufacturing departments by preparing and supplying additives for use in production
Review and develop internal HSEQ and laboratory procedures and provide training to relevant staff
Assist in the in the investigation and resolution of both internal and external complaints
Abide by and follow the company's HSEQ Policies and Procedures

About you
To be considered for the role you must have:

Completion of Year 11 with a pass in Mathematics, Science and English
Excellent computer literacy especially in Microsoft Excel
Experience and/or working knowledge of HACCP
Drivers Licence
Organisational and planning skills
Investigation skills with the ability to identify root cause
Strong attention to detail
Interpersonal/communication skills
Strong Teamwork and self-starting
Be physically fit and willing to undertake pre-employment medical testing including Drug and Alcohol testing
