Base pay range A$80.00/hr - A$100.00/hr We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer who has infrastructure procurement experience to join a State Government agency , toprovide procurement services for a $75million construction project invested by Queensland Government.
The role will focus on a range of procurement and contractmanagement tasks in preparation for the operations phase of the facility.
This role willalso assist the Technical Services Procurement management team to deliver and manage high risk/complex tactical and strategic procurement across the procurement network.
You will be involved in procurement, contract management, finance and planning activities to support the ongoing care and maintenance of the nature resourcesmanaged by the departmenton behalf of Queensland.
Key Responsibilities : Consult with, build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and regularly consult with team members and colleagues at all levels within the team to foster a collaborative environment.
Ensure that procurement and contract management service delivery meets whole-of-Government requirements and department's procurement and contract management framework, and is responsive to current and future needs of Technical Services.
Undertake tender management from procurement planning through to contract award, providing procurement advice to stakeholders and exercise a procurement authorisation for procurement andcontract management of contractors undertaking engineering, construction, economic, environmental and planning work for the business unit.
Coordinate contract management and contract administration activities including monitoring of critical project information such as milestones and expenditure to ensure project data is up to date at all times within departmental systems.
Provide objective, professional input to the development and implementation of business unit's procurement and contract management plans and process improvements.
Assist to the coordination and delivery of the training programs and contribute to the continuous improvement agendas, including the development of Business Plans and processes to promote best practice in service provision.
Perform relevant reporting functions including procurement and contract register, data integrity checking and the Forward Procurement Pipeline in accordance with the Queensland Procurement Policy.
Key Requirement: End-to-end procurement and contract management skills and experience.
Sound Governance to uphold integrity through responsible management and use of processes and resources in compliance with the Queensland Government procurement and contract management frameworks.
Experience in SAP.
Completion of Queensland Government Level 2 or Level 3 Procurement Certification is highly desirable.
Experience with Sharepoint, MS Forms and Power BI experience is highly desirable.
Relevant civil construction procurement and contract management experience is highly desirable.
A tertiary qualification in a related field such as law, finance, engineering, or equivalent industry experience demonstrating the required level of technical/operational expertise.
