Work From Home (must be based on the Sunshine Coast)Working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Position Summary : As an experienced Accountant, your role will involve mentoring junior staff and ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial information.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a business services role, strong technical skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Key Responsibilities : Prepare and review individual, company, partnership, and trust financial statements & tax returns from start to finish.
Build relationships with business owners across various industries.
Train junior accountants, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Handle tax matters including Division 7 A, CGT, and trust distributions.
Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS).
Skills : Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in a public practice firm.
In-depth knowledge of Australian tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software Xero.
Proficiency in FYI docs is desirable but not essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Ability to manage your own workflow.
