One of our clients is embarking on a major cloud transformation project and is looking for an expert to lead the migration of their VMware Cloud Director environment to Azure VMware Services, leveraging Zerto Site Recovery.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of a critical migration project with a leading organization that values technical excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct a detailed analysis of the current VMware Cloud Director setup to identify risks and define a clear migration path.
Design and implement a robust migration strategy, covering system architecture, performance, and security considerations.
Lead the end-to-end migration to Azure VMware Services using Zerto for seamless replication and minimal downtime.
Monitor migration activities and report progress, ensuring smooth execution with minimal business impact.
Engage with key stakeholders to align technical plans with business objectives and expectations.
Deliver post-migration support, including performance tuning and issue resolution.
Identify opportunities for optimization and cost-efficiency in the new cloud environment.
Document procedures, configurations, and best practices for future reference.
About You: A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.5+ years of experience in infrastructure migration, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery.
VMware Cloud Director Solid understanding of cloud technologies, data security standards, and migration tools.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
Nice to Have: Certifications in VMware and/or Azure technologies.
Exposure to other cloud environments like AWS or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of networking and storage systems.
