A provider of culturally competent community-based and outreach health care services since 1993; this organisation is a vibrant not-for-profit, servicing over 50 communities throughout remote and rural Queensland.
Position Description: Various roles available to suit your lifestyle, prefer to be based in Townsville or Mount Isa with travel to outreach locations.
FIFO opportunity will be considered for the right candidate.
Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality mental health assessment, treatment and intervention services, as well as engagement and educational activities within the community.
This position can also be Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) out of Townsville or Cairns, with telehealth option on your off week, for full-time employees.
As a Mental Health Professional you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset whilst working with a broad range of clients, including children and adults, older persons, and people with drug and alcohol issues.
You will travel to various culturally diverse communities across the Northern Queensland regions.
The organisation is seeking dedicated individuals who are culturally sensitive and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and autonomously.
You will have high-level communication and negotiation skills to establish and support respectful and trusting relationships with individuals, teams, staff and the community at large.
Qualifications & Experience: Seasoned candidates are encouraged to apply, provided you have current registration with AHPRA, and AASW (if applying as a Social Worker).
Suitable professions include: Registered Psychologists (Provisional Psychologists are welcome and encouraged to apply)Mental Health Certified Nurse Mental Health Accredited Social Workers Mental Health Occupational Therapists Please note: You will need a current, unrestricted 'C' class Australian Driver's Licence.
You must have the right to live and work in Australia.

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time Salary Information: In return for your hard work and dedication, you'll receive an excellent starting salary ranging from $76,000 to $97,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience, PLUS a range of additional benefits.
