The Opportunity We are pleased to announce that we are working exclusively with a leading Sydney based NFP charity in their search for a Procurement Lead.
This is a real opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive team and work for an organisation that provides thousands of support services on a daily basis for people with disability.
The Procurement Lead will be responsible for overseeing the selection and engagement of suppliers, negotiating complex, high risk deals with key suppliers to improve value and providing valuable insight on where significant streamlining opportunities may exist across supply chains.
This is a greenfield procurement position with lots of opportunity to drive change and make an immediate impact.
Aspects of your role will include : Selecting reliable sources of supply, engaging complimentary suppliers and working with key suppliers to improve value delivered to the organisation.
Analysing suppliers and identifying streamlining opportunities to deliver savings.
Preparing tenders, proposals and the negotiation of contracts.
Managing fleet vehicles by coordinating, administering and monitoring the maintenance, repair, replacement and logistics of all vehicles.
Your Background : You may be looking to work closer to home with flexible working opportunities, or looking for a role within a feel-good, purpose-driven environment where there are lots of opportunities to drive immediate change and really make a difference.
You will bring 3+ years' experience in a similar role with excellent stakeholder management skills and an ability to build rapport at all levels.
You will be a good negotiator and have a high level of attention to detail.
General knowledge of the NDIS environment would be beneficial but can be developed.
