The Accent brands Merchandising team understands consumer needs and market capacity to create the right product mix for the Australia & New Zealand marketplace.
From stores to online, this team helps bring seasonal category visions to life.
The Merchandising team has the unique ability to see beyond trends to identify what's next, delivering the right product to the right places at the right time and price.
The Accent Brands team is looking for our next Merchandise Specialist to drive growth for leading global brands including Dickies and Lacoste.
As the Merchandise Specialist, you will excel in understanding local and global market consumer trends to build profitable, consumer-centric assortments for the ANZ market.
Working with sales, marketing, and direct-to-consumer teams, you will oversee market capacity, range architecture, blending art and science.
Your ability to influence internal stakeholders and build strong relationships will be critical to success in this role.
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to : Partner with Global and Regional brand principles to drive key brand strategies in the market.
Conduct continuous review of the marketplace in collaboration with sales, commercial, and direct-to-consumer functions.
Build relevant, consumer-centric assortments for the marketplace via channel and segmentation models.
Develop robust pricing architectures to enhance brand positioning and maximize commercial outcomes.
Collaborate with key wholesale customers on special projects, seasonal requirements, and product developments.
Play a key role in go-to-market (GTM) touchpoints with sales and direct-to-consumer teams.
Drive the assortment planning process, including market capacities, net sales, and margin requirements, in partnership with commercial teams.
What we are looking for : At least 2+ years of experience in merchandising within footwear, apparel, or accessories in the consumer product industry.
Strong understanding of the Fashion, Sport, Surf, and Skate marketplaces.
Creative, strategic, analytical, innovative, and a problem solver.
Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Word.
Design skills are a plus but not essential.
Ability to work autonomously and take direction from multiple stakeholders.
Confident in presenting to small or large internal teams.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
