We are seeking an ecommerce specialist to take on the key role of visual merchandiser. This professional will be responsible for enhancing the online presence of our products across various websites.

This specialist will work closely with the purchasing team, conducting market research and data analysis to gain a deep understanding of our product categories. The goal is to create an optimal shopping experience for customers by optimising navigation and discoverability of products.

This role requires someone who is customer-centric, with a sound understanding of optimising customer journeys and experiences.

  • Manage online visual merchandising in line with brand guidelines for multiple websites
  • Build knowledge of categories and how customers shop them through online research and collaboration with the purchasing team
  • Research product specification requirements in all categories to set standards for suppliers
  • Work closely with the purchasing team to implement product merchandising best practices and quality control processes
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and updates on site, including navigation, search optimisation, category and product page updates
  • Conduct customer and competitor research to build a deep understanding of category merchandising
  • Analyse visitor browsing, purchasing behaviour and customer journeys to ensure visual communication places the customer front of mind

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A university degree in a relevant field (marketing, communications or similar)
  • Experience in online merchandising, digital marketing, website layouts, category management or cx functions
  • Passion for understanding consumer behaviour and improving customer experience
  • Highly analytical skills, ready to delve into data and make recommendations
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and proficiency in microsoft excel
