Key finance partner to the Tech function, who are predominantly based in Melbourne.

About the Position Reporting to the Global Head of FP&A, and a dotted line to the Chief Information Officer, this position is responsible for being the finance partnering lead to the Technology function.
There is a focus on driving cost optimisation, delivering strategic financial insights, delivering the budgeting process, managing the forecasting process, but also being heavily involved in investments for the organisation.
Responsibilities: Providing decision support, scenario planning, and financial modelling.
Lead annual budget planning, monthly forecasts, supporting the business in producing BAU and Investment project plans that are robust, with well understood risks and opportunities.
Monitor and report on actual performance versus budget and forecast.
Provide actionable insights and variance analysis both for Tech function and for group consolidation required for Group FP&A team.
Support vendor negotiations by providing robust financial analysis and commercial recommendations.
About You You will be CA or CPA qualified and an experienced commercial finance professional.
Experience partnering with an IT/ Technology function in a large corporate would be an advantage.
Advanced excel skills is important, and a small notice period is desirable as the organisation are looking for a highly skilled professional as soon as possible.
