About The Opportunity We have a newly created role at our Trend Girraween Powderline plant.
You will oversee the daily operations of our state-of-the-art powder coating plant, leading a skilled team responsible for material handling, operation of the vertical coating line, packaging, dispatch, and plant maintenance.
This plant is a crucial part of our nationwide supply chain supporting seven manufacturing plants in a fast-paced environment.
Your focus will be on delivering products in full and on time, while maintaining safety standards and fostering our safety culture.
Key Responsibilities Manage the plant to maximize delivery in full and on time, maintaining a customer focus Develop and nurture the team through leadership, training, and mentorship Achieve targets in production, quality, productivity, and costs Ensure operational maintenance of the plant complies with requirements Implement operational improvements based on your knowledge and experience About You We seek your experience in people management within manufacturing, capable of developing a medium-sized skilled team, maintaining high employee engagement, and fostering open communication.
Experience in powder coating operations is a plus.
