About the Role This is a full-time position to join our team.
The successful candidate will spend the majority of the time working from our head office in Port Melbourne, however eventual trips to job sites around Melbourne may be necessary.
As a contracts administrator, you will be responsible for: In-depth understanding of the projects and customers' needs.
Assess, approve and negotiate contracts and contract terms.
Create budgets, issue purchase orders and approve suppliers' invoices.
Manage project finances, tasks and timelines.
Complete weekly project reports and project forecasting.
Assist the (Operations Manager/Project Manager/Site Foreman) to manage project details including program, schedules, deliverables and resources.
Liaise with clients, consultants, trades and suppliers.
To be considered, you will possess the following skills and experience Construction Management or Quantity Surveying Degree, Diploma level or building trade background or suitable experience in a similar role.
Possess a high level of computer literacy – including proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Project.
Experience in Contract Administration.
Proficient in project planning, drawings knowledge and document management.
Financial planning and budgeting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Full Drivers Licence.
