ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Head of Fundraising & Supporter Engagement, the Appeals and Supporter Retention Specialist is responsible for our appeals and supporter retention program to help grow revenue and increase lifetime value.

End-to-end coordination and management of our major annual appeals and supporter retention communications along the ask/thank/report/repeat cycle, including upgrade/cross-sell activities.

Work closely with our fundraising agency, Donor Republic, and other external suppliers, including list brokers, telemarketing partners, designers, and mail-houses to develop and deliver effective fundraising campaigns, ensuring agreed budgets, workplans, and KPIs are met.

Work closely with the Marketing team to plan and develop high-quality content and a seamless engagement experience across all channels.

Analyse and evaluate fundraising campaigns to identify opportunities for growth, including retention, conversion, upgrade, and reactivation of donors to grow their lifetime value.

Use data and insights to continuously improve the performance and impact of our fundraising campaigns, maintaining a growth mindset to continue to improve after each fundraising appeal or campaign.

This role is full time, 12-month parental leave cover, formally based in South Melbourne.

ABOUT YOUWe are seeking a dynamic, organised and experienced fundraising campaigns specialist to lead the execution of our major annual appeals and supporter retention programs.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless end-to-end delivery of our fundraising campaigns, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external fundraising agencies to execute multi-channel campaigns that inspire and retain donors.

To thrive in this role, you'll bring experience managing multiple fundraising campaigns, with a track record of increasing income, retaining donors and guiding supporters through the supporter lifecycle.

The Perfect You If we could create the perfect you, you would be self-driven, positive and motivated, with the ability to work effectively as a member of a small team, and have: Prior experience in a similar fundraising role, leading the delivery of income generation campaigns and supporter retention campaigns across digital, direct mail, and telemarketing.

Proven experience planning campaigns from start to finish and collaborating across cross-functional project teams and with external suppliers.

Supporter-centric, with a creative flair and a passion for storytelling to inspire action and loyalty.

A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively and influence across teams.
