You will report to the Commercial General Manager and become the 2 IC, supporting the commercial function of the business.
You'll be the go-to person for all things commercial, from structuring and negotiating PPAs to shaping energy market strategy and investment partnerships.

About the role This position sits on the leadership team and reports directly to the General Manager.
You'll work closely with internal teams across project development, finance, and strategy as well as external stakeholders, including investors, utilities, and off-takers.
Your work will play a critical role in unlocking value across the entire project lifecycle of a renewable energy asset.
Duties Lead PPA structuring and negotiation with corporates, utilities, and government buyers.
Own and drive the energy market strategy across trading, pricing, and risk Negotiate with JV partners, investors, and stakeholders to drive outcomes Guide commercial input into project financing and M&A opportunities Skill/experience Must have experience in Australian energy markets and a solid network across the energy sector Proven success in closing PPAs and managing offtake strategy Deep understanding of the NEM and energy trading dynamics Background in commercial leadership within a developer, IPP, or utility Experience with project finance and stakeholder negotiations Confident communicator and strategic thinker Executive leadership role with real influence Sydney CBD office Competitive salary with bonus Company & culture Vinova are working with a leading renewable energy developer and IPP with a growing national footprint.
