Location: RAAF Base Amberley Category: Business Support Position Type: Permanent Job Reference: BOE / 1880862 BAttachments: No File Attached The Opportunity -BDA is seeking a Supply Chain Support Specialist to join the 1 SQN Training Flight team.
You will provide direct support to technicians managing periodic maintenance and modifications of F / A-18 Fleets.
Responsibilities include fulfilling customer demands and managing inventory of aeronautical products.
Shift work is required, with potential in-country deployments twice a year for up to 3 weeks if desired.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their Supply Chain career within the Defence Industry.
This role is based at RAAF Base Amberley.
As a Supply Support Representative within BDA, you will Monitor stock levels for high-demand items.
Order and return items from/to primary warehouse locations and monitor delivery.
Receipting items.
Assist with stocktaking.
Expedite overdue orders.
Oversee shelf-life managed items.
Assist with managing and disposing of hazardous waste.
Participate in activities to optimize stock replenishments and holdings.
About you To succeed in this role, you will have: Current High Risk Work license for LF (Essential)Valid C Class vehicle license (Essential)Strong communication skills (Essential)The ability to acquire NV1 security clearance (Essential)Understanding of shelf-life management, quarantine control, and hazardous product management (Highly Desirable)Understanding of Defence Logistics (Desirable)Familiarity with Defence information management systems, such as CAMM2 and LNIDS (Desirable)Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security vetting requirements for Global Trade Controls.
