The role will include but will not be limited to: Reviewing core commercial valuation reports as part of quality assurance, to limit business risk and increase customer satisfaction.
Identifying areas within the valuation business where quality control and compliance measures are required to improve quality.
Identifying areas where compliance checking will be required ie: valuer selection, value limits, report types, client types.
Creating and maintaining strong relationships with valuers, clients, suppliers and colleagues.
Providing constructive feedback to valuers daily in relation to quality control and compliance measures.
Where required, be directly involved with the client regarding any valuation query escalation.
Contributing to the training of Valuers in relation to quality and compliance with regards to reports issued for review.
Preparing valuer training material including guidelines and presentations.
Supporting and assisting with the implementation of new initiatives and business plan requirements.
Undertaking commercial valuations (if desired).

You will either be seeking an opportunity to add value to the commercial valuation process whilst moving off the tools, or you may wish to keep your hand in the game to keep your knowledge up to date.
We are open to you splitting your time between commercial quality reviews and performing physical valuations if preferred.
To secure this role you will need: Associate (CPV Status) of the Australian Property Institute (or similar)At least 6 years of experienced as a Commercial Property Valuer Interest in mentoring and supporting a high performing, committed team Knowledge of typical valuation methods for commercial property including sales comparison on a lettable area basis and capitalisation of income Working knowledge and application of relevant legislation and API requirements/guidelines Exemplary attention to detail Ability to thrive as a team and independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong commitment to customer service Achieve personal fee budget (through QM work and/or commercial valuations)What we offer to you: Competitive salary and uncapped commission earning potential: As well as API membership and mandatory modules fully covered Referral Bonus: Refer people from your network and receive a bonus if they are successfully recruited Career Development: Joining Opteon means having access to experienced professionals in all areas of Valuations including Residential, Core Commercial, Residential Development, Middle Markets, Agribusiness and more.
