Your opportunity : This role will be part of the Environmental Health team within the Public Health Unit, focusing on the enforcement of the Tobacco and Other Smoking Products Act 1998, Medicines and Poisons Act 2019, and related national legislation.
The Officer will assist with conducting routine compliance inspections, undertake evidence gathering during targeted enforcement, and where necessary, prepare briefs of evidence and appear in court hearings.
Two Temporary Full-Time Positions (76 hours per fortnight) are available from the date of appointment until 27th June 2027.

Our offer : You will receive a competitive remuneration package valued up to $125,735 per annum, comprising a salary between $103,423 - $110,201 per annum, employer contributions to superannuation (up to 12.75%), and annual leave loading (17.5%).
These are for Two Temporary Full-Time Positions, 76 hours per fortnight, until 27th June 2027.
