Security & Property Compliance Officer

As the Security & Property Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for security services, infrastructure, and property compliance associated with our branch and hub properties.

This position is open to candidates in Brisbane, offering flexibility to work from home one day a week.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Utilising your expertise to develop and refine processes and procedures to ensure our properties are safe, secure, and compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to security and property compliance.
  • Managing security operations, monitoring, alarm response, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents as a key member of the security emergency response group.
  • Establishing and monitoring compliance KPIs and audits, and improving outcomes by developing action plans and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Providing exceptional service, technical capability, and commitment to making a strategic difference across all areas of compliance and security procedures to protect bank assets, employees, and customers.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience developing or implementing compliance programs, including updating policies and procedures related to security and property compliance.
  • Experience conducting audits and assessments evaluating the effectiveness of security measures and property compliance practices, with reporting and recommendations.
  • Current knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security and property management.
  • Related project management experience.
  • Proven ability to implement training on policies, procedures, and best practices in this area.
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a similar role.
