We have several volunteer opportunities for an experienced director to join First Nations Healing Incorporated Board to make a positive difference for Aboriginal Families experiencing or at risk of Domestic and Family Violence in South Australia.
This is an opportunity for you to utilise your governance skills and experience to contribute to the leadership of a fantastic SA Aboriginal Community Controlled organisation and be part of a committed team guiding First Nations Healing Incorporated services' strategic direction.
DETAILED DESCRIPTIONAs a skills-based board, directors are recruited for the skills, experience, and competencies they have developed from their personal and professional activities which they will continue to develop while on the Board.
The director positions will contribute to setting strategic priorities for First Nations Healing Incorporated Services and serve as an advocate and ambassador for the organisation.
The Board is seeking to recruit several directors with: Extensive governance experience and an understanding of contemporary governance structures and processes, including understanding of risk and knowledge of a director's legal, ethical, fiduciary and financial responsibilities.
Capacity to undertake the role of a director.
Qualifications, skills and experience that complement the existing skillsets of the board, and a genuine passion to support First Nations Individuals and Families experiencing or at risk of Domestic and Family Violence.
Must hold or gain Director Identification through the Australian Business Registry Services prior to commencement in this role.
