Security Officer | Local | 32hrs | Bathurst Part-time Job Family: Security We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to oversee the gatehouse operations at our client site in Bathurst.
This role involves face-to-face interactions with contractors, truck drivers, and couriers, requiring excellent customer service skills and the ability to enforce site entry protocols.
This is a Permanent Part-Time position based at our client site in Bathurst.
You will work an average of 32-38 hours per week across various shifts scheduled over a 6-week period.
Weekly Rostered Hours: Week 3: Mon, Tues 6:00 am – 6:00 pm; Sat and Sun 6:00 am – 6:00 pm = 60 hrs Qualifications and Experience: A valid security license for NSW and a current first aid certificate.
Experience managing gatehouse security operations, including data entry and maintaining spreadsheets.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to manage deliveries, perform data entry, and ensure compliance with site protocols.
Confidence in observing, reporting, and responding to incidents.
Previous experience with gatehouse and weighbridge operations is preferred.
