The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Project Coordinator with a solid background in the construction industry.
Ideal candidates will have worked with a main or subcontractor and been exposed to Tier 1 and Tier 2 projects.
Reporting directly to the Director, your primary responsibility will be to plan, manage and oversee construction cleaning works across several large-scale projects.
You'll ensure delivery meets scope, schedule and budget, while upholding quality, safety and client satisfaction.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role involving early starts from 6:45am Monday–Friday, with also work on Saturdays.
We're looking for a motivated and proactive leader—someone who can train and guide teams, handle day-to-day challenges with efficiency and manage a project budget.
You'll be joining a dynamic, hard-working and supportive team passionate about delivering outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day planning and delivery of construction cleaning works across multiple major projects
Coordinate project requirements with Clients and meet project deadlines
Set up of equipment and materials for daily works across projects
Manage project budgets and schedules with reporting on budget actuals and program
Lead, mentor and train to ensure productivity, WHS compliance and correct procedures
Deliver on the Scope of Works and identify any variations
Understand and interpret project drawings and elevations
Manage all safety communication, documentation and compliance i.e.
Pre-Start meetings, Toolbox Talks, SWMS etc
Conduct regular site inspections for quality assurance
Receive requests from clients requiring allocations and schedule daily roster accordingly
Ensure all jobs are scheduled optimally to deliver projects on time and within budget
Obtain client sign-off for completed works and ensure additional works are approved and recorded
Identify and manage risks and hazards
Ensure projects are completed and handed over to clients in accordance with contract scope and program, client expectations, safety, quality etc
Provide regular reporting on projects and budgets to the Operations Manager & Director
Skills & Experience
Experience in project management/operations within construction
Relevant trade or tertiary construction qualifications
Ability to proactively plan, take ownership & manage major projects
Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver to budget
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Resilience under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Committed to quality, safety and client satisfaction
Leadership skills with a hands-on approach
Honest, motivated and enthusiastic team player
Valid Australian Drivers Licence
