What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of this role is to provide local leadership for the Auburn Hospital Nursing & Midwifery Education Unit, overseeing the nursing and midwifery education portfolio.
This includes managing the Gradstart Program and facility-delivered education and training programs within Auburn Hospital and Community Health Services.

Essential Requirements
Qualifications: As per the Public Health Systems Nurses' and Midwives (State) Award, a Nurse Educator Grade 2 is a Registered Nurse/Midwife with relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
Registration: Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Selection Criteria
Effective and advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lead and implement change within clinical practice and workplace culture.
Understanding of adult learning principles and assessment methods.
Competency in education delivery and facilitation using various tools and technologies.
Ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate education programs aligned with learner needs, achieving outcomes.
Awareness of current issues in nursing practice and staff education development.
