We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Senior Finance Officer to play a critical role in enabling smooth and reliable business operations by ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely execution of finance and administration activities across the business.
The Senior Finance Officer brings deep experience and capability to deliver high-quality outcomes across payroll, accounts, tax, budgeting, travel, and insurance functions.
You will be hands-on, self-directed, and equally confident in strategic tasks and routine administration, ensuring the business is supported with timely, high-quality financial and operational services.
While initially focused on learning and upholding existing processes, the Officer will then contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and value over time.
This role supports the delivery of Corehesion Group products, services, and initiatives that enable the business to meet its strategic goals, with the potential to further contribute to business improvement and optimisation initiatives as trust and alignment grow.

What We Offer : Autonomy in ownership of your role, whilst working within a supportive team Growth business with opportunities and a professional development plan for your career progression Public Holiday Exchange – swap out a Public Holiday for a day more suited to you Competitive salary, bonus, and share options The chance to be part of a forward-thinking company committed to innovation and excellence Key Responsibilities : Finance and Bookkeeping Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and bank reconciliations in Xero Oversee and process payroll accurately and on time Manage accounts payable and receivable, including prompt invoicing and supplier payments Track and report on aged receivables, ensuring prompt resolution Reconcile transactions and manage business bank accounts Tax and Compliance Coordinate and maintain business-wide budget development and review Monitor costs and provide monthly reporting on budget vs actuals Contribute to forecasting and financial planning activities Insurance and Risk Manage all business insurance policies, including workers compensation Ensure appropriate coverage is maintained and renewed on time Process insurance payments and ensure compliance with policy terms Continuous Improvement, Growth and Strategy Identify opportunities to improve processes without disrupting current systems prematurely Establish and implementing finance Standards Support business growth by assisting with sourcing and managing debt financing, including preparation of required documentation Collate and prepare clear, accurate financial information and reporting packs for investors, directors, or other external stakeholders Competencies and Experience : Diploma or Bachelor in Finance related field Over 5 years experience in Finance Administration Reliable, self-motivated, and accountable Fast learner who respects legacy systems and process before suggesting improvements High integrity with strong ethical standards Communicates clearly, confidently, and constructively Pragmatic problem-solver who balances excellence with progress Builds strong working relationships across diverse stakeholders Respectful & supportive to others Has a can do attitude, taking ownership of issues Reliable and dependable Contributes positively to workforce culture and wellbeing of others At Corehesion, we are committed to fostering a workplace that motivates, empowers, and supports our team members, ensuring their professional growth and well-being.
