Accounts Receivable Officer

We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract for 6 to 12 months, with the potential for a permanent placement for the right candidate.
About the Role As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient and accurate financial operations, ensuring seamless transactions, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Your key responsibilities will include: Managing stakeholder relationships to provide high-quality customer service Invoicing, ensuring accuracy of fees, and promptly finalising accounts Raising credit notes and managing debt collection, including arranging payment plans Performing monthly reconciliations against financial records, investigating and resolving discrepancies About You To be successful in this role, you should have:3-5 years' Experience in Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, reconciliations, and debt management Strong communication skills, both verbal and written A proactive and collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills XERO Experience essential Total Synergy experience – desirable Proficiency with IT systems, including Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, and Pivot Tables.
Microsoft TEAMS experience – desirable Confidence to contact clients via phone to discuss their needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate across departments to resolve client issues and deliver high-quality service.
Organise and prioritise tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
