We're currently seeking an experienced Chef to join our Stellarossa Crestmead team in a full time role, working 38 hours a week.
Duties and responsibilities include:

Develop and plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and manage food supply orders.
Oversee the quality of dishes throughout the preparation and presentation stages.
Collaborate with managers, dietitians, and kitchen and serving staff to address food preparation concerns.
Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide guidance on culinary procedures.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes.
Ensure compliance with hygiene standards and regulations.
Responsible for staff selection and training, if required.
May manage freezing and preservation of foods.

Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience as a Chef and hold a relevant qualification.
The role requires strong customer service skills, solid cooking techniques, and the ability to prepare meals to a high standard while maintaining food quality.
Proficiency with knife skills and menu planning is important, along with effective time management to handle a busy kitchen environment.
Strong communication, kitchen management, and problem-solving abilities are also essential to ensure smooth operations and consistently excellent results.
A salary between $75,000 - $80,000 will be offered to the successful applicant.
