About the Employer Our client is a well-established multidisciplinary construction and property development firm, known for its family values and commitment to excellence.
They are expanding and seeking talented legal professionals to join their team.
Your New Role As a key member of the legal team, you'll work closely with the General Legal Counsel, receiving one-on-one mentorship.
Your responsibilities include: Providing front-end advice on construction law (transactions, advisory work); Handling litigation and dispute resolution in areas such as construction, consumer law, planning, and local government, across Federal, State Courts, Land & Environment Court, and NCAT; Managing non-conveyancing property law matters (leases, options, property development, due diligence) and drafting/negotiating commercial contracts; Offering advice on regulatory and compliance issues related to construction, corporate governance, insurance, health and safety, and employment.

Who You Are We are seeking candidates who: Are admitted lawyers with a minimum of 2 years' post-admission experience; Have at least 2+ years' experience in construction law, with additional experience in property, commercial law, or litigation (in-house or private practice); Are proactive, commercially savvy, and possess strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills; Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a typing speed of 50-60 wpm+; Can work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; Are versatile, hands-on, and willing to engage in both high-end legal work and administrative support; Seek a fulfilling in-house role to make a meaningful impact and build a successful future with a dynamic company.
