You will assess, treat, and manage complex cases while providing clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff.
The role includes acute care physiotherapy interventions, discharge planning, and collaboration with our multidisciplinary weekend team.
About the role : Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and professional development guidance to junior physiotherapy staff and Allied Health Assistants, fostering their clinical skills and career growth.
Lead the development, review, and evaluation of evidence-based clinical protocols, policies, procedures, and resources to ensure alignment with best practice standards and optimal patient outcomes.
Undertake clinical training and education activities, including creating training resources.
Liaise with the Director of Physiotherapy on service planning, quality standards, staff development, and operational matters within the division.
About you : Extensive clinical experience delivering physiotherapy services to diverse patients in acute medical settings, with particular expertise in managing complex cases and providing specialised care for older adults.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including advanced negotiation, consultation, and conflict resolution abilities, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong professional relationships with key stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities or strong motivation to develop management skills, with experience or enthusiasm for guiding teams and driving service excellence.
A degree or equivalent that entitles registration as a physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
