Summary Ignite a passion for learning in our students, while embodying the values, mission, and principles of Catholic EducationLocation: St Francis College - Crestmead (S)Start date: 07/10/2025 | End Date: 26/06/2026 Work hours: 30.00 Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 + Tier 3 ML Allowance + super (commensurate with experience)Status: Full Time Fixed Term/Variation Ad close date: 14/09/2025 Contact: pscrestmead@bne.catholic.edu.au About The Opportunity In this position you will be responsible for: Lead the designated program in the school.

Supervise teachers engaged in the program throughout the school.

Induct new teachers within the program (or supervise the induction where it is undertaken by another experienced teacher).

Monitor program outcomes for students and address areas of concern through appropriate interventions.

Coordinate the work of staff engaged in delivering the designated program in the light of the values and ethos of the school.

Regularly communicate with stakeholders (students, parents, school staff and other personnel) to ensure the smooth operation of the program.

Organise program activities including resources, transport, operations, staff, etc.

Keep abreast of best practice in the program area through on-going professional reading and research, and providing for the professional learning of staff in line with these developments.

Supervise the quality of staff within the Program through collegial support, advice, observation and facilitation of reflective response to issues.

Contribute to the leadership of the school through active participation in staff and middle leadership meetings.

Manage financial and material resources within the area of responsibility including the formulation of budgets and the expenditure of allocated funds.

About You To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including: Creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes for students A passion to support students' spiritual and moral development For this position you are not required to be Catholic.

Eligibility And Safeguarding Requirements Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
