The Senior BD & Bid Specialist provides professional input into Arup's work-winning activities across the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region.
This role involves developing and managing pursuits, bids, and pitches.
You will be part of a wider Marketing and Communications, Business Development (MCBD) team spanning ANZ.
Responsibilities include managing and contributing to pursuits, developing bids with proposal teams, and supporting client-specific BD activities.
A good understanding of our firm, industry, markets, services, and people is essential or will be gained on the job.
The Opportunity Lead and manage bids across the designated state/country, ensuring alignment with strategy.
Proactively manage multiple tender processes of varying scale and complexity, including bid scheduling, compliance, and document production, with full accountability for bid coordination.
Support business development decisions and analyze bid performance metrics.
Guide win strategies, collaborate with teams, support client-facing activities, and contribute to improving bidding processes and success rates.
Liaise with key personnel and others within the business to ensure timely delivery of information to meet internal and external deadlines.
Is this role right for you?Proven track record in bidding, including scheduling and production.
Strong proofing and content development skills.
Excellent internal influencing and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Dynamics CRM is desirable.
Ability to remain motivated under pressure.
