Summary Support teachers in delivering powerful strategies that supercharge student learning and success in every subjectLocation: St James - Coorparoo Start date: 26/08/2025 Work hours: 30 hours per week Salary: $33.17 + super (School Salary Scale)Status: Term Time Fixed Term until the end of 2025 school year Contact: Rachelle Gibson | rmgibson@bne.catholic.edu.au About the opportunity In this position you will be responsible for: Assisting with the planning, preparation, and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs for students including the use of technology and learning support activities Monitoring the progress of students and identifying learning areas to provide evidence-based intervention strategies Improving student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs Collaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services Documenting observation notes, intervention programs, and assisting in the collation and preparation of classroom materials Training and support will be provided About you To be successful in this position, you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including: Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to building trust and rapport Strong skills in planning, preparing, and delivering effective teaching programs Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence-based interventions Expertise in supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes Collaborative skills to work with specialists and coordinate intervention groups Proficient in documenting observations, managing intervention programs, and preparing classroom materials Certificate III in Education Support For this position, you are not required to be Catholic Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement Why choose BCEJoin us and be part of the largest Catholic Diocese in Queensland, nurturing your personal and professional development goals.
