Business Risk and Controls Senior Associate Business Risk and Controls Senior Associate Direct message the job poster from JCW Group JCW is currently recruiting for a growing regional bank based in Charlotte that is looking to expand their ERM/ORM team with an Operational Risk Senior Consultant.
This position is responsible for leading and/or supporting one or more of the bank's Enterprise and Operational Risk Management programs which include RCSA, new products and initiatives, change management, KRIs, operational loss reporting & analytics, issue management, and scenario analysis.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a business risk and control team supporting risk management.
Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage enhancements to and execution of the bank's enterprise and operational risk programs as directed by management including RCSA, new products and initiatives, change management, operational loss reporting & analytics, issue management and scenario analysis.
Collaborate with front line units and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate program design from a risk management and end user perspective.
Provide oversight, guidance and challenge for front line units to ensure adherence with program requirements.
Support integration of operational risk programs and data into the bank's GRC tool.
Develop and produce ongoing risk reporting and perform risk data analysis.
Develop presentations and reports to support internal and external audits.
Develop risk management training and roles/responsibilities materials to be communicated across the three lines of defense.
Identify and escalate risks as appropriate.
Required Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:5+ years' experience in the financial services industry with three or more years in Risk and Controls at a large bank Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects successfully.
Experience with operational losses Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Power Point, and Share Point.
Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools a plus.
