Vegetation Strategy Manager

In this pivotal role, you'll lead the long-term strategic direction for vegetation management across Essential Energy's network, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder expectations.This role has a preferred location of Port Macquarie, however anywhere within the operational footprint will also be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement Essential Energy's Vegetation Strategy, including the Vegetation Management Plan and Compliance Demonstration Document Provide expert advice on risk, performance, and cost factors in vegetation management Ensure regulatory compliance and demonstrate adherence across the business Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to influence outcomes Align vegetation strategy with key Asset Management System artefacts Represent Essential Energy in industry forums and influence legislation Champion asset management maturity and cultural growth across the business Promote diversity, inclusion, and ethical standards in line with company values About YouYou're a subject matter expert in vegetation or asset management with a strong strategic mindset.
